Maintenance
How should a road roller be maintained after being parked for a long time?
1. Perform technical maintenance for long-term parking as required by the engine user manual and carry out anti-rust treatment.
2. Clean the inner and outer surfaces of the roller thoroughly. If conditions permit, park it in the warehouse all the time. If it is parked outdoors, choose a well-ventilated area and cover it with canvas.
3. Parallel the front and rear workshops and adjust the thickness of the pads until the shock-absorbing blocks do not undergo any shear or tensile deformation at all.
4. Use the central hinge frame fixing device to fix the front and rear frames together.
5. Add new oil or grease to the lubrication points of the roller.
6. Remove the battery from the roller, clean its exterior, check the electrolyte level, and charge it once a month.
7. Wrap the air filter, dust outlet, exhaust pipe opening, etc. with plastic or paper tape, etc. This helps prevent moist air from entering the engine body.
8. Fill the fuel tank to the brim to prevent condensation and rust.
9. Fill the hydraulic oil tank to the highest mark.
