Bobcat launched the E19e electric mini excavator at bauma 2022
Bobcat has launched a new 2-ton mini excavator. The E19e - the electric version of the Bobcat's popular E19 internal combustion engine (IC) model - offers zero emissions, low-noise operation and a performance level comparable to that of diesel-powered counterparts. This new machine was unveiled at a special press conference held at the manufacturer's booth on the opening day of bauma 2022, which is currently being held in Munich, Germany.

The Bobcat E19e has the same shape, external dimensions and comparable performance as the popular E19 mini excavator, with over 10,000 units sold worldwide. The E19e boasts the same stability, lifting capacity and digging force as its traditional counterparts, and its constant torque curve (a characteristic of the motor) ensures reliable and powerful operation. The width of the new electric model is only 980 millimeters, making it easy to operate even in the narrowest workspaces. It is highly suitable for tasks such as demolition and external applications that require quiet, zero-emission operation.
The E19e is designed around the needs of operators, with larger Spaces between consoles, providing first-class comfort. With well-positioned travel pedals and joysticks, including thumb control and cantilever swing functions for AUX1, all controls are placed at the operator's fingertips. The introduction of foldable travel pedals and the absence of AUX1 and cantilever swing offset pedals installed on the floor help maximize legroom.

The E19e has a battery capacity of 3.5 hours and can be quickly charged with an ultra-fast charger. This means that by replenishing power during work breaks, the machine can be used throughout the day for most typical applications. It is said that the E19e has a wide range of applications and can provide a variety of compatible accessories. For instance, Bobcat's hydraulic fixture accessories are unique in the market for this size category.
The E19e is powered by a 17.3kWh battery, which is larger than the 11.5kWh power supply of the E10e. It also generates a very low noise level on site, with an LpA (Operator Noise) of only 70dBA - 9dBA lower than the diesel-powered E19.
The electrical system and components of this model have been optimized for operation in harsh environments. Moreover, as it only uses low voltage (the same as the E10e), the 2-ton mini excavator is safe and easy to maintain. It also comes with a complete manufacturer's warranty for the Bobcat, giving fleet owners and end users peace of mind.
The key data of the new Bobcat E19e include a working weight of 1,907 kilograms (with roof and bucket), a driving speed of 4.2 kilometers per hour and an auxiliary flow rate of 33 liters per minute. The maximum excavation depth is 2,385/2,565 mm, the maximum dumping height is 2,566/2,693 mm, and the maximum surface range is 4,039/4,214 mm (all SA/LA). Meanwhile, the boom swing Angle is 80/60 degrees (left/right), the bucket digging force is 10.4/9.3kN, and the bucket digging force is 21kN.
