Hyundai Heavy Industries' new A series excavators made their debut at bauma 2022

Modern construction equipment is upgrading its mini/medium-sized excavator series with new EU Phase 5 machines. The working weight of the A series small excavators ranges from 1.7 to 5.5 tons, and they are expected to reduce emissions, enhance hydraulic capacity and improve the comfort of operators.

The features include the "Tiger's Eye" design language, which recently won the renowned Red Dot Design Award. For load-sensing hydraulic systems of models over 4 tons; All models are equipped with a proportional control lever as standard, as well as quick coupling pipes and safety valves on the boom, arm and bulldozer cylinder. Modern Construction Equipment Europe will introduce 8 machines ranging from 1.7 tons to 5.5 tons, among which 4 will be exhibited at the bauma 2022 exhibition in Munich. The launch of these models will complete Hyundai's 11 compact excavator series, ranging from the smallest 1-ton HX10A micro to the multi-functional HX85A, which can compete in the 9 to 10-ton segment when equipped with a 2-piece boom.

As part of the new series, HX35A Z, HX40A and HX48A Z have been recognized by German Design Zentrum Nordhein Westfalen as winners of the Red Dot Design Award.
