How to troubleshoot common faults of hammer crushers?
Introduction and Application of Hammer Crusher: The hammer crusher is suitable for crushing various medium-hardness and brittle materials. The materials to be crushed include coal, cement, gypsum, alum, brick, tile, limestone, etc. The compressive strength of the materials should not exceed 300 megapascals, and the moisture content should not be greater than 15%. Currently, the hammer crusher is widely used as an ideal product for artificial sand making.
The working principle of the hammer crusher: The main working component of the hammer crusher is the rotor equipped with hammers (also known as hammer heads). The rotor is composed of a main shaft, a disc, a pin shaft and a hammer. The motor drives the rotor to rotate at high speed in the crushing chamber. The materials enter the machine from the upper feeding port and are crushed by the impact, shearing and grinding of the high-speed moving hammers. Under the rotor, there is a sieve plate. The particle size smaller than the sieve hole size in the crushed material is discharged through the sieve plate, while the coarse-grained material larger than the sieve hole size remains on the sieve plate and continues to be hit and sheared by the hammer, and is finally discharged outside the machine through the sieve plate.
Hammer Crusher Faults and Troubleshooting
1. The bearing is overheating
Reason: Insufficient grease; Too much grease; The grease has become dirty and deteriorated. The bearing is damaged.
Exclusion method: Add an appropriate amount of grease; The lubricating grease inside the bearing should be 50% of its space volume. Clean the bearings; Replace the grease; Replace the bearing.
2. The particle size of the output is too large
Reason: Excessive wear of the hammer head; The screen bar is broken.
Troubleshooting method: Replace the hammer head; Replace the screen bars.
3. Reduced output
Reason: The gaps between the screen bars are clogged. The feeding is uneven.
Troubleshooting method: Stop the vehicle and clear the blockages in the gaps of the screen bars. Adjust the feeding mechanism.
4. The elastic coupling makes knocking sounds
Reason: The pin shaft is loose; Wear of the elastic ring;
Troubleshooting method: Stop the machine and tighten the pin nut. Replace the elastic ring.
5. Knocking sounds are produced inside the machine
Reason: Non-broken materials enter the interior of the machine; The fasteners of the liner are loose, and the hammer strikes the liner. The hammer or other parts are broken.
Troubleshooting method: Stop the machine and clean the crushing cavity; Check the tightness of the liner and the gap between the hammer and the screen bar. Replace the broken parts.
6. Machine vibration
Reason: When replacing the hammer head or due to the wear of the cone head, the static balance of the rotor does not meet the requirements. The hammerhead is broken and the rotor is out of balance. The pin shaft is bent or broken. Cracks in triangular discs or round discs; The anchor bolts are loose.
Elimination method: Remove the hammer heads, select the hammer heads by weight, and ensure that the total weight of the hammers on each hammer shaft is equal to the total weight of the hammers on the opposite hammer shaft, that is, the static balance meets the requirements. Replace the hammer head; Replace the pin shaft; Electric welding repair or replacement; Tighten the anchor bolts.
