Maintenance
How to inspect the eight general components of lifting machinery
1) Hook
Check whether the marking and anti-disengagement device of the hook meet the requirements, and whether there are any cracks, peeling or other defects on the hook. Whether the wear of the hook cross-section, the increase in the opening degree, and the torsional deformation exceed the standard; Check for fatigue deformation, cracks on the neck and surface of the hook, as well as the wear of related pins and sleeves.
(2) Steel wire rope
Check whether the specifications and models of the steel wire rope match the pulley and drum in accordance with the design requirements. Whether the wire rope fixing devices such as the pressure plate, rope clamps and wedges at the fixed end of the wire rope meet the requirements. Whether the wear, broken wires, kinks, flattening, bending, broken strands and corrosion of the steel wire rope exceed the standard.
(3) Braking device
The setting of the brake, whether the type of the brake meets the design requirements, and whether there are fatigue deformation, cracks and other defects in the brake pull rod and spring; Check whether the pin shaft, mandshaft, brake wheel and brake friction plate are worn beyond the standard, and whether the hydraulic brake is leaking oil. Whether the brake clearance adjustment and braking capacity meet the requirements.
(4) Drum
Check for fatigue cracks, damages or other conditions on the drum body and the drum edge. Whether the wear between the rope groove and the cylinder wall exceeds the standard; Can the height of the drum flange match the number of layers of the steel wire rope winding? Whether the working conditions of the rope guide and rope arranger meet the requirements;
(5) Pulley
Is the pulley equipped with an anti-rope disengagement groove device? Check whether there are cracks, broken edges, excessive wear and other conditions in the rope groove and rim of the pulley, and whether the pulley rotates flexibly.
6) Reducer
When the reducer is in operation, check for any abnormal sounds such as intense metal friction, vibration, or radiation from the casing. Check whether the shaft end is well sealed and whether the fixing bolts are loose or damaged, etc. Whether the selection of lubricating oil for reducers, the oil level, the operation of the lubricating oil pump for vertical reducers, and the lubrication of open gear transmission meet the requirements.
(7) Wheels
Check whether there are fatigue cracks on the wheel tread and axle, and whether the wear of the wheel tread and axle exceeds the standard. Whether there is any rail biting phenomenon during operation. What are the causes of rail biting?
(8) Coupling
Check for any damage to the coupling parts, loose connections, and operational impact phenomena. Whether the wear of couplings, pin shafts, pin holes and buffer rubber rings exceeds the standard. Whether the coupling is concentric with the two connected components.
