The correct way to use a bulldozer

1. According to the project of the operation (such as land leveling, digging for lakes, moving mountains and filling gullies, etc.), the scope, topography and landforms, etc., carefully design and select the most reasonable operation methods and walking routes.

2. When operating, minimize idle running, pull the control lever less, drive straight and push forward, ensure safe operation, and achieve high efficiency and quality.

3. When pushing soil, the machine body should first come to a stable stop and be leveled, then the scraper should be placed gently. The depth of soil entry and the amount of soil intake should be roughly the same.

4. The advancing speed should be slightly slower to avoid the scraper being subjected to excessive impact or slipping.

5. Your attention must be fully concentrated. During work, be flexible and adaptable. For instance, when you see the front of the vehicle tilting upwards, immediately gently press the handle (the scraper will sink), and when the front of the vehicle sinks, casually lift the handle (the scraper will rise).

6. When pushing soil is not smooth, for instance, when encountering hard soil layers or other obstacles, do not blindly press the accelerator hard and push forcefully. Do not lift the clutch hard to collide. Also, avoid pushing soil forcefully with one side of the shovel to prevent serious consequences.

7. The cutting edge of the bulldozer blade should be kept sharp. If one side is blunted, it can be replaced for use. If both sides are severely worn, the blade can be ground by welding or simply replaced with a new one.

8. Bulldozers are constantly operating in harsh environments such as wilderness, barren hills, hard ground and complex terrain. They frequently advance and retreat over extremely short distances and work under heavy loads, which can easily lead to early wear, deformation, damage and loosening of fasteners of the tractor chassis and various components of the bulldozer blade. Therefore, in addition to correct operation, there can be no slightest negligence in the inspection and maintenance of the above-mentioned components.
