Load detection of the crusher
A beneficiation testing technology for detecting the actual amount of ore that passes through the crushing chamber of a crusher instantaneously. The load of the crusher affects the particle size of the crushed products and energy consumption, as well as the normal operation of the crusher. Therefore, the load of the crusher should be detected in a timely manner. During multi-stage crushing, the load of the last stage of the crusher that controls the particle size of the final product is generally only detected. This stage of the crusher is usually in a closed circuit system, and its feed volume includes the amount from the previous crushing stage and the circulating load volume. The main methods for testing the load of the last section of the crusher are:
(1) By directly indicating the material level in the crushing chamber with a contact level gauge, the load can be known.
(2) Detect the current value in the motor circuit of the crusher
(3) Use a belt scale or the like to weigh the conveying capacity of the feeding belt conveyor of the crusher
(4) It is obtained by calculating the circulating load of the closed-loop system for crushing and screening.
The first two methods directly reflect the magnitude of the instantaneous load inside the crusher cavity, are convenient for detection, and are more conducive to timely adjustment. They can be combined with automatic adjustment devices to form an automatic control system. The third method, apart from not directly reflecting the load inside the crusher cavity, also has the advantages of the first two methods, but it requires the addition of a beneficiation plant. When the particle size of the conveyed material is too large (the particle size of the material entering the final crusher is 50MM), the weighing accuracy of various belt scales is relatively low, so they are rarely selected. The fourth method can only reflect the average load of the crusher over a certain period of time and cannot achieve timely adjustment.
