1. Protect your own and others' safety. Do not enter dangerous areas

When the outriggers of the pump truck are extended or retracted, the rotation range of the outriggers is a dangerous area. Personnel within this range may be pinched. When performing this operation, be cautious to ensure the safety of yourself and the people beside you.

2. To enhance the overlapping force of the position, the outriggers need to be extended to

All the outriggers of the pump truck have fixed reinforcing positions. Only when the outriggers are fully opened and fully extended can these reinforcing positions exert their maximum strength; otherwise, there is a risk of the outriggers breaking. When extending the outriggers, pay attention to observing the arrows on the outriggers and ears, as well as the alignment position of the front outrigger arm with the arrow of the front outrigger extension arm.

3. Communicate well with the construction workers and never make a mistake.

The pump truck must be supported on a solid ground. If the maximum pressure of the outriggers is greater than the allowable pressure on the ground, support plates or auxiliary square timbers must be used to increase the supporting surface area. In addition, before setting up the outriggers, it is essential to communicate with familiar people on the construction site to ensure that the outriggers are not above the sewer.

4. Keep a sufficient safety distance to prevent ground subsidence

When supported near pits or slopes, sufficient safety distances should be reserved to prevent ground collapse.

5. The pump truck must be leveled to ensure that the deflection Angle does not exceed 3 degrees

After the support is completed, it is necessary to ensure that the maximum horizontal deflection Angle of the pump truck in the front, back, left and right does not exceed 3 degrees. Generally speaking, during the construction process, the extension direction of the boom is raised a little higher to leave a margin for the settlement of the boom after extension. The pump trucks produced by Zoomlion are generally equipped with electronic levels and alarm devices. Once the tilt Angle of the pump truck is too large, the alarm will sound to alert the operator. Also, before extending the boom, please double-check whether the outriggers are properly set up.

6. Use a remote control arm to confirm safety and do not lift it too high from the ground

After confirming that all outriggers are reliable and effective, it is best to use the first and second sections of the boom to verify the safety of the outriggers. The specific approach is to extend the first and second sections of the boom to an opening Angle of approximately 90 degrees, ensuring that the distance between the two booms and the ground does not exceed 1 meter. At the positions of the four outriggers, remotely control the up and down movement of one boom to check if the corresponding boom and the diagonal boom are safe.

7. If water gets under the outriggers, retract the arms to ensure safety

If factors such as rain, leakage of the outrigger cylinder or reduction of outrigger stability occur, the boom should be immediately retracted. After eliminating the problems, the outriggers should be re-erected as required.

In addition, when supporting the pump truck, it is best to keep the tires about 5 centimeters off the ground. Otherwise, due to the swinging of the S-shaped swing pipe of the pump truck and the impact of the pressure inside the pipe, the vehicle may shake, which could damage the vehicle's driving mechanism.

Two people work together, observe more, listen more and communicate more

The operation of the pump truck requires at least two people to complete. One of them operates the remote control to control the movement of the boom and the pumping. Another person is constantly observing the boom and outriggers of the pump truck, as well as the quality of the aggregates entering the hopper.

1. Have a dedicated person direct the reversing to prevent the tanker from colliding with the pump truck

When the tanker is reversing, a dedicated person must be assigned to direct to prevent the rear of the tanker from hitting the pump truck.

2. First, lubricate the end of the hose with mortar. Do not stand on it

Before pumping concrete, mortar should be pumped first to lubricate the delivery pipe; otherwise, it is very easy for the pump to get clogged due to insufficient lubrication of the pump pipe. No one is allowed to stand within the range of twice the diameter of the hose before the material is discharged from the end hose.

3. Do not walk under the construction boom that is shaking greatly

At any time during the pumping operation, try not to have anyone stand under the boom to prevent the boom from accidentally breaking and causing danger. Secondly, due to the changes in pressure and weight inside the pipe, the boom may suddenly sway up and down, posing a safety hazard.

4. Operate gently. The boom wobbles less and is safe

When the pump operator is operating, they should try to keep all the movements of the pump truck "gentle". For example, when operating the boom, the operation method of "slow - fast - slow" should be followed. That is, at the initial stage of pushing the remote control lever, it must be done slowly. After the boom starts to move, the lever can be gradually pushed to the bottom. When stopping the boom movement, the remote control operation lever should be slowly retracted. This can effectively reduce the left and right swing amplitude of the boom.

5. Pipe blockage in pump trucks is a headache, and forced pumping poses hidden dangers

Due to issues such as the pump operator's skills and the workability of aggregates, pipe blockage is an inevitable process during the operation of pump trucks and is also the most troublesome problem in operating pump trucks. If in the early stage of pipe blockage, the problem cannot be eliminated even after the reverse pump, it is best to disassemble and eliminate it. Forced pumping is prone to cause the pump pipe to burst.

6. Do not operate when the line of sight is unclear. Keep a distance from the tower crane

During the construction process, a corresponding safety distance should be maintained from the scaffolding or the floor. In some cases where the view of the boom is unclear, it is best not to operate on it. There are usually tower cranes on construction sites. During the construction process, it is necessary to communicate well with the tower crane driver and keep a close eye on them at all times to be careful not to bump into them.

7. In extremely bad weather, do not carry out construction on the boom and avoid the power line points

When you operate a pump truck near electrified objects such as power lines, regardless of whether they are electrified or not, maintain a safety distance of at least 5 meters. In case of bad weather, the pump truck is prohibited from operating. Be careful.
