In the application of stone processing, various long-term or short-term overload situations may occur during the crushing process. The key objective pursued by the overload protection system of the Klei Man mobile jaw crusher MC 110 EVO2 and the mobile cone crusher MCO 90 EVO2 is to enhance the integrity of the equipment in a sustainable manner by ensuring its continuous operation as much as possible. Both of these two devices are equipped with mechanical and software-operated overload protection systems for jaw crushers.

With the help of a multi-level overload protection system, the MOBICAT MC 110(i) EVO2 jaw crusher can provide higher safety when encountering non-breakable materials. For example, if there are metal objects during the crushing process, the outlet opening (CSS) of the crusher will automatically open fully within two seconds. For short-term overload situations, the crushing main unit does not need to stop running. This means that the material in the crushing chamber has been discharged, and there is no need for manual cleaning of the crushing main unit, thereby significantly reducing the workload and saving time.
When the overload problem is solved, the outlet opening is restored to the initial setting and the crushing process can continue. The equipment is equipped with an overpressure plate with a predetermined break point, which can effectively shorten the downtime and enhance the crushing capacity of the equipment.

The MOBICONE MCO 90(i) EVO2 cone crushing equipment is equipped with two different systems. The "Iron release" overload protection system can protect the crushing main unit from damage caused by encountering non-breakable materials such as wood or metal. The fixed cone and the fixed cone liner can be automatically lifted, allowing non-breakable materials to pass through.
The "jump cone detection" reflects the presence of excessive fine materials in the raw materials, which can prevent "caking". That is to say, when the crushing main unit is clogged and the materials stick together, the hydraulic pressure of the overload protection system of the crusher is continuously monitored. If necessary, the system will respond to prevent potential overload situations from occurring.
Depending on the application, customers can set through the control system whether the "jump cone detection" overload protection system is more inclined towards equipment products (" hybrid mode ") or product quality (" precision mode ").
