Nord has launched the brand-new MAXXDRIVE®XT industrial gearbox - a powerful transmission device suitable for strong conveyor belts

Nord two-stage MAXXDRIVE®XT right-angle shaft gearboxes are suitable for heavy-duty conveyor belt systems in the bulk material conveying industry. Currently, there are 7 specifications to choose from, with power ranging from 50 to 1,500 kW and output torque ranging from 15 to 75 kNm.

Nord MAXXDRIVE®XT industrial gearboxes have a high heat load capacity and do not require external cooling. They can keep the conveyor system running even under harsh conditions and ensure smooth material transportation. Through the design that combines an axial flow fan and an air deflector, this gearbox does not require external cooling. Its large roller bearings and center distance enhance the load-bearing capacity of the components and extend their service life. This new MAXXDRIVE®XT series further enhances the MAXXDRIVE series by optimizing the two-stage right-angle gearbox. It is particularly suitable for conveyor belt systems and can be customized according to specific applications. Its power and speed range is specifically designed for low-ratio and high-power industry applications, such as bulk material and mining solutions. These industries have high requirements for the robustness and durability of solutions to ensure that equipment can resist dust and operate reliably under harsh working conditions. This type of application requires the adoption of a special sealing concept that requires as little maintenance as possible. In addition, the drive system should also be managed without external cooling.

A modular system for efficient conveyor belts
