Common faults of impact crushers
I. If abnormal vibration of the crusher (impact crusher) is found:
1. If the material is too large, you can check the feeding size.
2. Uneven wear indicates that the impact hammer head needs to be replaced
3. The rotor is unbalanced and needs adjustment
4. Improper foundation treatment. Check the anchor bolts and reinforce them.
2. If it is found that the bearings of the crusher (impact crusher) are overheating:
1. It indicates that the bearing is short of oil and needs to be refilled in time. Of course, adding too much oil can also cause the bearing to overheat. When refilling, it is essential to check the oil level.
2. If the bearing is damaged, it should be replaced in time.
3. If the upper cover is too tight, adjust the bolts properly. The tightness should be moderate.
Iii. If it is found that the output particle size of the crusher (impact crusher) is too large:
1. It indicates that the hammer head is worn out. It needs to be idled or replaced.
2. The gap between the hammerhead and the impact plate is too large. It is generally adjusted to 15-20mm.
3. Excessive feed particle size can also affect the output particle size.
Four. If the belt of the current crusher is turned over:
1. The belt is worn out and needs to be replaced.
2. Due to the issue with the belt conveyor assembly, the pulleys need to be adjusted to be on the same plane
3. It is essential to pay attention to the quality of the V-belt itself.
