Installation and commissioning of vibrating screens for mining machinery: There are many types of vibrating screens, such as shaking screens, circular vibrating screens, resonant screens, and linear vibrating screens, and their structures also vary. Users should install, use and maintain different screening machines reasonably.

1. Preparations before installing the vibrating screen

Before installing the new vibrating screen equipment, a thorough inspection should be carried out. Due to the long storage time of the manufactured finished products in inventory, such as rusting of bearings, aging of seals or damage during handling, new parts need to be replaced when encountering these problems. Also, for instance, the vibrator is filled with anti-rust oil before leaving the factory for rust prevention. Before it is officially put into operation, it should be replaced with lubricating oil. Before installation, one should read the manual carefully and make full preparations.

2. Installation of vibrating screen

(1) Install the supporting or hanging device. When installing, the foundation should be leveled, and then each component should be installed in sequence according to the component diagram of the support or hanging device and the installation diagram of the screen. Before the spring is installed, it should be selected and matched according to the actual stiffness value marked on the end face.

(2) Connect the screen box to the support or hanging device. After installation, it should be adjusted according to the specified inclination Angle. For suspended screens, the inclination Angle of the screen box and the levelness of the main shaft of the screen box should be adjusted simultaneously. Generally, the horizontal levelness is adjusted first to eliminate the skew of the screen box. After the horizontal correction, adjust the longitudinal inclination Angle of the screen box. The force on the vibration isolation spring should be uniform, and its force condition can be judged by measuring the compression amount of the spring. Generally, the compression amounts of the two sets of springs at the feeding end must be the same, and the same applies to the two sets of springs at the discharging end. The spring compression at the discharge end and the feeding end can be different. Imported pump valve

(3) Install the motor and V-belt. When installing, the foundation of the motor should be leveled, the levelness of the motor needs to be corrected, the centerlines of the corresponding grooves of the two pulley belts should coincide, and the tensile force of the V-belt should be appropriate.

(4) Install and fix the screen surface as required.

(5) Check the fixation of each connecting part of the screen (such as the screen plate, exciter, etc.). The screen mesh should be evenly tensioned to prevent local vibration. Check the lubrication condition of the transmission part, whether the wiring of the motor and the control box is correct, and rotate the transmission part by hand to see if it operates normally. (6) Check whether there is any collision between the feeding and discharging chutes of the screen and the funnel under the screen during operation.

3. Trial operation of vibrating screen

After the installation of the screening machine is completed, an empty-load test run should be conducted to preliminarily check the installation quality and make necessary adjustments.

The no-load test run time of the sieve shall not be less than 8 hours. During this period, observe whether the sieve starts smoothly and quickly, whether the vibration and operation are stable without any special noise, and check whether the amplitude meets the requirements through the amplitude gauge.

(2) When the screen is in operation, the vibration of the screen box should not cause lateral sway. If there is a horizontal swing, the possible reasons could be a large height difference between the springs on both sides, uneven tension on the suspended steel wire rope, the rotating shaft not being level, or the V-belt being too tight. Corresponding adjustments should be made.

(3) Within 4 hours of driving, the temperature of the bearing gradually increases and then remains stable. The maximum temperature shall not exceed 75℃, and the temperature rise shall not exceed 40℃.

(4) If there is abnormal noise or a sharp increase in bearing temperature after starting up, the machine should be stopped immediately to check whether the shaft rotates smoothly and whether the lubrication is good, etc. Only after the fault is eliminated can the machine be restarted.

(5) After driving for 2 to 4 hours, stop the machine to check if any connecting parts are loose. If any are loose, wait until they are tightened before driving again.

If there are no faults after an 8-hour test run, the installation project can be accepted.
