Three reasons for the malfunction of pavers not being able to move and their solutions
Three reasons for the paver's inability to move and their solutions: In our construction practice, we have encountered three types of malfunction phenomena where the paver cannot move.
1. Electromagnetic coil failure causing inability to move: A paver was unable to move after working for 300 hours. Due to the short working time, the hydraulic drive system is not prone to damage, so it is judged to be a circuit problem. When inspecting the brake solenoid valve, it was found that its coil was dc-12v, which was obviously inconsistent with the rated voltage of the entire machine, and it felt hot. After manually releasing the brake, the fault disappeared. However, shortly after replacing the standard dc-12v coil, the following phenomenon occurred again: Occasionally, the machine would suddenly turn during normal paving work, and the faster the speed, the greater the amount of turning. This machine is equipped with an "epm" system, which has an automatic detection and correction function for deviation. Even after performing the "ofst" self-check as per the manual, the fault still cannot be eliminated. Moreover, the frequency of "deviation" and "sudden steering" has increased from 1 to 2 times a day to 5 to 6 times, seriously affecting the operation quality. The operator must always keep the control lever away to prevent sudden steering. This caused the rear screed to hit the curb stone. After on-site debugging and correction by the factory's warranty personnel, the problem still could not be solved. As it was a new machine and this phenomenon occurred after the brake electromagnetic coil was replaced, the brake master valve was inspected with a focus on the principle of "starting with the simple and moving to the complex". It was found that the connection position between the valve core of the replaced coil and the valve seat was incorrect. After disassembly, it was discovered that the thread at the connection was damaged, causing the valve core to be misaligned and the stroke to be insufficient. After technical treatment, the fault was eliminated.
2 Asphalt adhered to the guide wheel of the track walking: The left track of a paver was loose. At first, it was suspected that there was a problem with the distribution valve of the tensioning cylinder. However, after replacing the hydraulic pipeline, there was no change. The test pressure was 60mpa, which met the working requirements. Since the machine had only been in operation for two months, the tensioning cylinder should not be damaged, so it was judged to be a mechanical cause. When inspecting the guide wheel slide, a large amount of emulsified asphalt was observed adhering to it. So it was heated and cleaned, and the relevant bolts were loosened. 3 The radiator was covered with a large amount of dust: A paver had been working for nearly 800 hours. One day, during operation, the engine suddenly shut down. The operator first suspected that there was a problem with the engine's fuel supply. After eliminating the gas in the diesel fuel pump and pipelines, the engine could be restarted, but it stalled again after about 20 minutes of operation. "Youdaoplaceholder0!" appeared when observing the epm system. Fault warning, but no indication of the cause or location. Observation shows that everything is normal except for the slightly higher temperature of the hydraulic oil. Based on this, it can be judged that there is a fault in the cooling system. After inspection, it was found that there was a considerable amount of coolant, the fan was working properly, but the outer wall of the radiator was covered with a lot of dust and dirt. After cleaning, the fault was eliminated.
