Dynabac has successfully assisted the major Dutch client VAN GELDER in completing the zero-emission construction project

VAN GELDER, a long-established Dutch construction company, is a comprehensive infrastructure service provider in the Netherlands and even in Europe. To achieve this goal, VAN GELDER purchased the SD1800We electric paver and the CC900e electric double steel wheel vibratory roller through VAN DER SPEK, the Dutch distributor of Dynapac. At the first all-electric construction site near Schiphol Airport in the capital Amsterdam, the performance of this Dynapac electric equipment was highly recognized by the project leader, and the on-site construction report issued was quite satisfactory.

Project Manager Sander van Domselaar mentioned in an interview, "The completely zero-emission construction project of renovating the motor vehicle lanes and bicycle lanes of Highway N232 is not only the first time in the Netherlands, but also in the world." The CC900e double steel wheel vibratory roller is powered by a 15-kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery, which drives a 10-kilowatt electric motor for driving and steering, and is equipped with an 8.5-kilowatt motor for vibration. This roller can work for 8 hours a day without charging.

Mr. Van Domselaar, the project manager, highly praised the ultra-low noise performance of the electric equipment during operation and stated, "There is no disturbance of exhaust emissions and noise at all. Moreover, in terms of construction efficiency and performance, this set of electric equipment can fully reach the same level as traditional construction machinery. The only difference is, We need to charge the SD1800We paver once at noon. For this purpose, we used a mobile 500-kilowatt-hour battery system to solve this problem on site. He believes that the high-tech construction methods provided by Dynapac's advanced equipment will enable VAN GELDER to fully achieve its carbon neutrality goal starting from 2025.
