Yuchai's new high-power power generation products have been exported overseas to support urban construction in countries along the "Belt and Road"

Recently, Yuchai's new high-power power generation model YC16VTD diesel engine, paired with a 1600kW generator set, has completed all tests and been officially delivered to a South Asian customer, where it will serve as the power source for local urban construction projects.

The Yuchai YC16VTD diesel engine is a 16-cylinder engine designed and developed based on the mature models of YC12VTD and YC6TD. It is the first 1500KV-class non-road National IV engine in China, filling the gap of Yuchai in 40L-80L displacement power generation. This model adopts the most advanced electronically controlled high-pressure common rail technology at present, with a compact and beautiful appearance. Compared with its competitors, the YC16VTD has advantages such as greater power density, stronger sudden charging capacity, higher reliability, and better fuel economy, while meeting the T3 and T4 emission requirements.

The YC16VTD engine is mainly paired with 1350-1650kW generator sets and is suitable for common and backup power sources in data centers, oil drilling, mining machinery, etc.

In recent years, the outstanding performance of Yuchai's Marine power products has been widely recognized by domestic and foreign customers. From January to July this year, despite the overall decline in the industry market, Yuchai's Marine power achieved a doubling of sales and the sales volume of 16-liter and above high-power Marine power products year-on-year, further expanding its leading position in the comprehensive market share. Among them, overseas sales increased by 138% year-on-year, and were sold to multiple countries and regions such as Singapore, the Philippines, Turkey, Nigeria, and Peru.
