Sany Heavy Industry: New Driving Force for Green Development, 53 electric container trucks Delivered in batches

This batch of pure electric container trucks is developed for port conditions and better meets the requirements of ports. It adopts direct motor drive and is equipped with integrated thermal management and braking energy recovery functions, saving 5 kilowatt-hours of electricity per hour. The maximum towing mass of the entire vehicle is 70 tons. The battery pack has a capacity of 282 kilowatt-hours. When fully charged and the air conditioning is on, the cruising range in port conditions is no less than 120 kilometers.

Compared with traditional internal combustion engine container trucks, Sany's electric container trucks have a lower usage cost, with the cost per standard container per vehicle reduced by 80%. Moreover, pure electric container trucks have no exhaust emissions, which can reduce carbon emissions by 270 tons per year. At the same time, they are quieter and offer a more comfortable driving environment. At present, all 53 pure electric container trucks in this batch have been put into production. While fully unleashing the production and operation capacity of the port area, they have also injected new impetus into the green port development of Ningbo Port.
