New HD 98i - HD 118i and HD 138i VV double steel wheel rollers

At this year's bauma China exhibition, Hummer launched six new double steel wheel rollers weighing 9 to 11 tons. These new types of road rollers comply with the National IV emission standards, featuring outstanding compaction performance and area output. They are energy-efficient and highly effective in construction and come in a variety of configurations to choose from.

The HD 98i and HD 118i double steel wheel rollers are driven by a powerful 95kW Cummins engine and come in a variety of styles to choose from Double drum vibratory rollers (VV), double drum oscillatory rollers (VO), and combined rollers (VT) offer a wide range of choices for customers to achieve efficient and high-quality compaction.

At the bauma exhibition, in addition to the two new models, HD 98i VT and HD 118i VV, the HD 138i VV, which has long been renowned in the industry, also made its debut together.

Hummer CompactLine small double steel wheel roller

With 10 new models, Hummer has significantly expanded its lineup of small road rollers, all of which are equipped with Kubota engines and can meet the National IV emission standards. With a "honeycomb waist" design that ensures an ideal field of vision and a three-point articulated mechanism that provides excellent handling performance, these rollers can be flexibly applied to asphalt compaction and landscape applications.

With 10 new models of steel wheels with widths ranging from 0.80m to 1.38m, the Hummer HD CompactLine series has fully covered all weight grades of small road rollers (meeting the National IV standard).

For the Chinese market, we have specially designed a number of new models, with weight grades ranging from 1.6 tons to 5 tons, including HD 18 VV, HD 20 VV, HD 30 VV, HD 30 VT, HD 35 VV, HD 35 VT, HD 35 VO, HD 50 VV, HD 50 VT and HD 50 VO are all produced at the Wirtgen Group's factory in Langfang, China.

The optional width range of steel wheels is 0.8m to 1.38m. The available models include: double steel wheel vibratory roller (VV), double steel wheel oscillatory roller (VO), and combined roller (VT). At the bauma exhibition, Hummer also showcased three models: HD 18 VV, HD 35 VT and HD 50 VO.

Electric double steel wheel roller

The Hummer HD 12e VV electric double steel wheel roller is undoubtedly another highlight of the bauma exhibition in China. In 2022, Hummer significantly expanded the product range of its HD CompactLine small roller series through eight new all-electric models weighing 2.5 to 2.7 tons.

Both HD 10e and HD 12e are available in four models: VV, VO, VT and OT. Their compaction performance is as powerful as that of the diesel engine-driven models of the same class. Among them, four models are equipped with oscillating steel wheels, and two are oscillating double steel wheel rollers.

In this regard, the quiet oscillating compaction system and the quiet electric drive system complement each other. The quieter roller not only has no exhaust emissions but also significantly reduces the vibration in the surrounding area. They can be ideally used in noise and vibration-sensitive areas, such as near hospitals or historical buildings.
